Cupshe is an amazing fast fashion brand that hit the online clothing market back in 2015. Fast forward to 2022, it’s basically become one of the most sought-after brands for beachwear and dresses. It presents collections after collections of the most vibrant dresses and colourful swimsuits for confident and fun-loving women. So naturally, I had to try it out and see what the fuzz is about.
Like every fast fashion clothing brand that caters to women, Cupshe does present its share of doubts to the average buyer. The main question revolving around everyone’s mind is, ‘Are Cupshe sizes accurate?’. Although the brand promises us that they are indeed true to size, I still did some digging around, and what I found blew my mind.
Does Cupshe Run Small?
After testing out a few summer dresses, bikinis and swimsuits, I finally found the answer to this question. Cupshe does not run small, in fact, they run true to size, most of the time anyway.
Since this Chinese brand broke into the western market, women have loved it left-right and centre. I was honestly surprised by the sheer number of Cupshe haul videos popping up on youtube.
However, as the brand became increasingly popular in the western market, a serious question popped up amongst many of its customers. As usual, customers were worried about whether or not Cupshe runs true to size.
Well, for those of you wondering, here’s what you need to know. First off, Cupshe does not fit small, and neither does Cupshe run big. So that’s one worry you can get off your mind.
I personally found that most of the items I ordered from Cupshe really did fit true to size. Out of the four beach dresses I ordered, three of them were a perfect fit. One of them was a little tight, but not so tight that I couldn’t wear it. So, for the most, the Cupshe sizing (look below) was pretty accurate.

With the above size chart, you’ll know how to decide your size for Cupshe apparel. Keep in mind that there might be a slight difference of a few inches due to manual measurements. However, the difference isn’t major and won’t affect your overall sizing.
Cupshe Swimwear Sizing – Do Cupshe Bikinis And Bathing Suits Run Small?
Cupshe swimwear sizing is a bit more complicated, but you can definitely get the size that fits you. Most of their 2-pieces come together as a set. So when you pick a size, that size will be valid for both the top and the bottom. This might create some issues if your bust is way bigger than your bottom, or vice versa.

However, they also sell swimsuit separates, so you could go for those if you don’t want to take any risks. It might take you some time to create a good looking combination of your own, but it’s always better to be careful, right?
While Cupshe sizing for beachwear is pretty accurate, there was something significant I discovered about the size chart. I cannot help but feel that their size chart was designed based on the ideal slim and petite Asian body. You know, that flawless finesse that most of us can’t master? Sigh..
Because of this, I did find some inaccuracies in the Cupshe sizing. However, it’s only a matter of a few inches here and there. So as long as you shop within your body-zone, you should be fine.
Should I Size Up On Cupshe?
For the most part, no, you don’t have to size up while buying Cupshe. If your measurements fall under one of the sizes, the item you order will most likely fit true to size. However, there might be some of you whose measurements fall between two sizes, so what do you do then?
If your measurements are between two sizes, choose the larger size to get a good fit. This won’t be a problem overall because most people’s measurements do fall under a specific size. That being said, you might have to size up if you have a peculiarly uneven measurement that fits in between two sizes.
Cupshe Plus Size Review
Cupshe has joined the bandwagon of providing quality plus size fashion for heavy-built women. So naturally, there has been lots of curiosity about whether or not their sizing is accurate for plus-sized women.
The word around town is that Cupshe dresses and bikinis are quite true to size. However, we do face a slight issue when we come to plus-size swimsuits. There have been a lot of complaints that plus-size swimsuits are a bit too tight on the thighs and bust. I’m not just talking about the experiences of a few friends but also that of many customers online.
So, do Cupshe swimsuits run small for plus size? They indeed do. So, if you’re ordering a plus-size monokini, I’d recommend you size up while doing so.
